Technically, it’s a Cyclocross bike, but I wanted something with a bit more beef for my daily commute.  The final picture shows the completed bike, but it now sports a rack and waterproof panniers, even though Southern California really doesn’t get that much rain… but when you carry a laptop and other technology with you, you want it to stay dry.

This is really not a description of what I did, but just a collection of pictures to chronicle the build.  This bike was a while in the making, as I had to sell my old road/commuter in order to get the money for this one.  Once the parts were in, the build went very quickly.
